GIFT VOUCHERS
Our online gift certificates make perfect presents for spa lovers. Choose the value of a specific treatment, spa day or a desired denomination. All vouchers are non-refundable. Vouchers cannot be part redeemed or extended. A digital or paper copy of the voucher must be presented to the Resort. Vouchers can only be purchased using accepted payment methods. SPA ETIQUETTE
Appointments -
As treatments are subject to availability, we strongly recommend scheduling your appointments in advance. Please note, we do require a prepayment for your treatments to guarantee the reservation. Please let our spa team know if you have any special requirements. We can also help advise on the best choice of treatment for you.
Use of the Leisure Facilities -
When joining us for a treatment, you can choose to add the use of the leisure facilities (both pools, gym, etc) for an additional £27.50 or £15.00, if your treatment is £50.00 or over. Robes and towels can be hired separately at Una Reception, £5.50 per robe and £2.75 per towel, each subject to availability.
Cancellations -
We ask that you make any cancellations or changes to your treatments at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to avoid a charge. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to show for an appointment, will be charged in full.
Arrival -
We invite you to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment (15 minutes before your Spa Day Package). As a courtesy to other guests, should you arrive late we regret that we will only be able to offer you the remainder of your appointment time. The full cost of the treatment or service will still be charged.
Modesty -
Our therapists are trained to drape towels discreetly to protect your privacy. Disposable underwear is available upon request. Please ensure that lower underwear, as a minimum, is worn for all treatments. If in doubt, please clarify with your therapist.
Wellbeing -
For your safety and comfort, we ask you to complete a pre-treatment consultation on arrival. Please notify us of any specific requirements for your visit, which may include injuries, physical complaints or conditions, recent operations, metabolic disorders, allergies or pregnancy. Please be advised, due to medical contra-indications, our team of highly qualified therapists have the right to deny treatment for your safety.
Precautions -
Please note, our spa team have the right to deny a treatment should they feel it is unsafe to be carried out. We would not recommend any hair removal within the 24 hours prior to exfoliation treatments. Sunburn may limit enjoyment of your spa treatments; please be vigilant and use sun protection.
Communication -
Prior to the start of your treatment, kindly advise your therapist of the areas you would like to focus on and any areas to be avoided. During your treatment, please let your therapist know if you feel any discomfort. Communication is the key to obtaining the full benefit of your spa experience.
Children -
Una St Ives is a family friendly resort, and we warmly welcome children to our leisure facilities, to be accompanied by an adult at all times. We offer a selection official and nail treatments tailored to ages 5 to 14. Please note, we have a minimum age requirement of 18 for all massage treatments and our spa lounge is adult only.
Gratuities -
Gratuities are not included in our rates. If you have enjoyed your treatment, please feel free to leave a gratuity at your discretion.
Pregnancy -
Please see our mother to be page for our exclusive treatments tailored to each guest during the second and third trimester. Our spa team are happy to further advise which treatments are most suitable during this special time.
Food and Beverages -
We recommend eating and drinking in moderation and avoiding alcoholic beverages prior to your spa treatment. Please note, for your own safety and the safety of others, following the consumption of alcoholic beverages, our resort team have the right to decline a treatment or facility access if they deem necessary.
Spa Lounge -
We welcome guests to enjoy a complimentary herbal tea and relax on our cozy day beds in our open-air lounge. Please note, we ask guests to speak in a soft voice and turn off your mobile phones when in our spa lounge.

Please note, we are a small team and do not have a designated receptionist. We aim to respond to all enquiries as soon as possible, please note throughout bus periods this may be between 24-48 hours.
